I am retired clergy (Lutheran ELCA), a practitioner of Zen Buddhism and a volunteer with the Milwaukee Zen Center Meditation Program. I visit four prisons each month and sit with Sangha in each. I am a active poet, three books from the Print on deman/self publish realm, Chasing Wind Mills. Why Not. (Lulu), The Inner Passage and Warrior Poets (Creatspace.com) , the last two projects with colleagues and strangers from around the world and my three summers at Naropa U 2010-2012. I am married, live in the woods and have a blended family of 5 adult children and twelve Grand Children. Have been active in the Civil Right movement, Interfaith movement and Occupy the World. An Ambassador to the Parliament of World Religions in 2015 and have attended 3 of the five Parliaments. My wife is an ordained Interfaith Pastor....we have a hell of a life, fun, always moving and blessed. Looking forward to sharing and listening and being part of this group. Peace

Camels Dance in the rain

that’s right, in central Wisconsin, fall
snow very soon
ten camels live near by in a large field
fenced in yet free
munching, dancing as in the desert
wonderful
